How to create a new permission slip

Script now allows you to create and update all of your permission slips at your school! The best part is that you can add in "Dynamic Fields" so the proper parent, student, and school information is filled in automatically. This mean no more hard to read handwriting and wasted time filling out paperwork!

To get started lets select the "permission slip" tab in the top left once we are on the activity module.

This will now take us to the "Permission Slip View" where we can see all of the schools permission slips. Here we will select the "New Permission Slip" in the top right of the screen.

Here we can now create a brand new permission slip to be used for activities throughout the school. While you type out your permission slip you will see a parent preview on the right side of the screen. This will give you an example of how the permission slip will read to parents. As mentioned earlier, Script provides administrators will "dynamic fields" that can be entered into the permission slip. These fields are helpful as they are contextual based on the activity, student, and parent signing the permission slip. Since Script already has this information we auto populate those sections of the form making the process faster and more accurate. Once you have finished creating your permission slip simply click the "Save" button on the bottom left of the form. Viola your permission is now ready to be assigned to an activity!
